How long did Sukumar take to write Rangasthalam script??

Rangasthalam released on 30th March and got rave reviews from critics, highly positive response from the audience. Ramcharan acting and Sukumar Rangasthalam Script are major highlights of the film.Sukumar succeeds in taking the audience to 80’s era.

The interesting fact is that Sukumar took just 20 minutes to finish the script of Rangasthalam. He revealed this in a recent interview. He stated that Vijayendra Prasad(writer of bahubhali) once narrated him a script in just 10 mins, this incident was his inspiration to write story in very short time.

Sukumar also said that he wrote climax scene first then weaved the story around that scene.

Vijayendra Prasad

It’s really stunning that he wrote Rangasthalam Script of epic period drama in just 20 mins. There are also few incidents in the past which I came across where writers took very short time in penning beautiful characters, scripts and songs.

Tollywood’s wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas took just 2 hours to write iconic bunk srinu character in Manmadhudu.

Puri Jagannath is one Tollywood writer who takes very less time in penning a story. He usually takes 14 days to complete story and dialogues for a feature film, 7 days for story and screenplay of the film and 7 days for the dialogues part of the film.

Interestingly puri took just one hour to write the story of Heart Attack movie. In an interview, he stated that he got the idea of heart attack story while listening to a song from Ranbir Kapoor movie Rockstar.

3.Ananth Sriram

Ananth Sriram is one of the best lyricist in Tollywood. In an interview, he said that he took 73 days to write pacha bottesina song from Bahubhali, whereas he took just 20 minutes to write title song from Seethamma vakitlo sirimalle Chettu. He mentioned that sometimes writers have to struggle a lot to bring directors vision into the soul of the song.
