1. Siva Nageshwar Rao:
Siva Nageshwar Rao used to work as assistant director for movies which were produced by Annapurna Studios. During these shoots he met RGV and when RGV got his first break as a director he asked Nageshwar Rao to be his Co-director. RGV in a interview said that Nageshwar Rao used to alert him about the technical difficulties which may occur during filming a scene which helped him to be extra cautious during pre-production. Nageshwar Rao name appears in rolling titles as NAGANDLA. He assisted RGV for Shiva, Kshana Kshanam and later became a director with Money movie produced by RGV. He then directed many comedy films like Pattukondi Chudham, Sisindri.
2. Krishna Vamshi:
Krishna Vamshi through Siva Nageshwar Rao joined in the team of Shiva movie. Vamshi recalls when he first saw RGV at Annapurna Studios. He was smoking while a young men walked into the studio wearing denim jeans and yellow T-shirt and later Vamshi came to know that he is none other than RGV the director of the movie. RGV in a interview said that final mixing of the movie happened at Sujatha theatre and Vamshi used to sleep just for 15 minutes in a corner of the theatre. Krishna Vamshi later assisted RGV in many movies and got his first break with GULABI produced by RGV. He then went onto direct many classics like Ninne Pelladata, Antahpuram, Murari, Khadgam
Teja used to work as a assistant cameramen in Chennai. Teja used to have a habit of narrating short stories and jokes during break times. RGV observed him and invited him for dinner that day. He said Teja that he is going to direct a movie and asked him to help in script. Teja moved to Hyderabad and used to stay above RGV’s house. Teja did mutliple works like poster designing, camera assistant, assistant director. Teja didn’t get any credit in title cards of Shiva for Telugu Version but his name appears as Associate Director in Hindi Version of Shiva. Teja made his directorial debut with Chitram movie and later went onto direct many hit movies like Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam.
4. Puri Jagan:
During Hindi version shooting of Shiva at Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural university Uttej one of the assistant directors for the movie introduced Puri to RGV. Puri though wanted to join in the direction team RGV gave him a chance as one of the dancer in Botany Patamundi song. Later Jagan worked as assistant for many RGV movies and got his first break as a director with Pawan Kalyan’s Badri movie.
5. Rasool Ellore:
Rasool Ellore worked as Steady Cam operator for Shiva movie. Initially Rajeev Menon was approached to handle Steady Cam but he worked for few days and then dropped from the project. During 2nd schedule of Shiva movie Rasool went abroad and took a short term course in operating Steady cam. He shot many critically acclaimed scenes like Shubhalekha Sudhakar Death scene along with Teja. Rasool later became director with Okariki Okaru movie and also directed Bhageeratha with Ravi Teja
Gunasekhar worked as assistant director for Hindi version of Shiva. He later went onto direct super hit films like Choodalani Undhi, Okkadu.
7. S. Gopal Reddy:
S. Gopal Reddy worked as cameramen for Shiva movie. He later became director with Naa Autograph Sweet Memories starring Ravi Teja in the lead role.
8. Tanikella Bharani:
Tanikella Bharani wrote dialogues for Shiva movie and also played one of the important role Nanaji in the movie. Bharani later directed Mithunam movie.
